Scotties drop three spots on popular dog breed list

The American Kennel Club’s list of the most popular dogs in the US in 2007 shows the Scottish Terrier falling to 45th place from 42nd place in 2006 while the iconic Bulldog muscled its way into 10th spot. Since we’ve recently been discussing the relative popularity of Scotties and Westies, you may be interested to learn that the West Highland Terrier fell to 35th spot from 33rd.

Here’s the list with the top terrier spot going to the Yorkie.
