A tribute to Ashley, the family Scottish Terrier

With Ashley’s adoption, I succeeded in adding to my work load and subtracting from our bank account. We had no idea a Scottie would need so many visits to the groomer. And appointments with the vet, while vital, were budget busters nearly every time.

But who could deny the sheer joy that little mutt brought? Here she was, entered into the Muddy Frogwater Kiddie Parade, wearing a frog costume and toting a beaming child. There she was, tuckered out from a family walk and headed for home in the stroller while Daddy carried the baby.
