Video: Carnegie Mellon’s Scottish Terrier mascot attends first spring carnival

CMU’s Film synopsis: Experience Carnegie Mellon’s 2009 Spring Carnival through the eyes of Scotty, the university’s official mascot. Scotty, a Scottish terrier given to Carnegie Mellon by comedian and dog lover Bill Cosby, charmed students, alumni and friends as she made her way around campus, from Buggy to Booth!

Our film critique: Scotty aka Maggie is a true star and the camera loves her. Congratulations, Larry Cartwright, you’ve done a fabulous job, take a much deserved bow. And maybe I’ll take one too given that Maggie’s a Canadian just like Bridget and the rest of the Scottie News team.

  1. I agree Maggie is charming. I do wish she was wearing a little bit more snazzy lead and collar!
