Last year when the Scottish Terrier and Dog News reported on the Scotties cast as former first dog Barney in Oliver Stone’s George Bush biopic, W, we paid special attention to Whiskie, an 11-year-old Dallas dog with a showbiz past. One of her previous gigs had been an indie horror movie then called Bit Parts.
Well, Bit Parts is now about to be released on DVD under the title, Gravestoned. According to its website, it’s about “Shark and Coltrane, two out-of-work pot farmers, (who) desperately want to break into the movie business. They receive the task of acquiring a prop arm for an upcoming film shoot. Not knowing any better, they chainsaw a cadaver’s arm off. Now they have to survive the night in the graveyard with a cadaver zombie that wants his arm back. Pot-smoking gravediggers, a movie goddess (Lar Park Lincoln), an obsessed movie mogul, hot cheerleaders (or are they exotic dancers?), a redneck and a Scottish Terrier are all here in this over-the-top comedy horror film for stoners.”
