  1. I look at your site every day. My wife and I get a real kick out it. We have a wonderful little Scottie that we love very much. Her name is Ainsley. She is a perfect dog. She doesn't bark, she is extemely agreeable. She has a strong terrier personality without being too "in your face" about it.

  2. Hi Thanks for all the work you put in, I don't comment that often, but I always read. Congratulations on your 3 year and thanks again
    Louise 🙂

  3. Congratulations on 3 years! I always enjoy your postings and appreciate all the work you put into your blog – thank you!
    Bridget is a beautiful scottie!
Best wishes from Julie, Speck & Sprocket

  4. Brava!!!! Thank you for all the work and love – every breed should be so lucky to have such a great publication dedicated to them!

  5. Bridget is a doll!

I love the STDN site; we have so much fun browsing it (wife and self, Scottyless for 6 months now.) I enjoy the comments, too–Scotty people are special.

Congratulations on maintaining such a fine website for 3 years, and thank you for providing it! –ken (formerly of Mary, Queen of Pinheads, and Packy the Scottish Terrorist)

  6. Happy anniversary, Ann! I read the news every week; you and the Scotties often bring smiles and laughs. I'm truly smitten with the breed and one day I hope to get some photos of my Tre' off to you. Congratulation! david

  7. Greetings from Oregon STDN!
Happy Anniversary to you and Bridget.
    You both look fantastically well.
Keep close to your mom Miss Bridget. Dog parks can be fun if you don't try to run away.
Cheers – Lacy , Mike, Gus, Robbie & Miss Rosie

  8. Yay… Happy anniversary!

Bridget looking cute … bless her! She looks amazingly like my Kirk, but without the ginger bits 🙂
    Keep up the good work.

  9. Happy anniversary! I must say for a bolter Bridget is looking quite dignified and oh so above it all! May you celebrate many more anniversaries in the years to come. Arrrooooos to you from Mavri and Aspri!

  10. You're talking about Ann I presume.

She's well worth having a pint or two with.

  11. Happy Anniversary. We don't comment much, but we always read and enjoy.

Bridget sounds just like a normal scottie. We have our bolting moments when some human tries to cramp our style.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  12. 😀 Happy Anniversary!!!
We enjoy keeping up with Scotties & their peeps thanks to STDN! Maybe Bridget is going through a belated teenage rebellion?? But that face – "like butter wouldn't melt"! Looking forward to many more years of Scottie fun. Thank you, Ann!
    Teagan & Ceilidh!

  13. Dear Bridget and Ann,

We love your STDN and it must be a tremendous amount of work to put it all together. You get into some pretty controversial subjects, yet you graciously let us post our viewpoints, even if you don't agree! Bridget, you are a true beauty — and not even a wiggle when you were held up to the camera! I guess you take fame into stride! My Scotties are very 'in my face' about the fact they are running my life! They always have, and always will. There is nothing more precious to me than Scottish Terriers! Thank you, Ann, for all the work. You do a beautiful job! Happy Anniversary/Happy Birthday — from The Biggs & Barktalkers

  14. Thank you, everyone, for your comments. It's good to know you're still out there.

I sometimes feel commenters leave because I'm not responsive enough in the comments, but there are only so many hours in a day and that might be too egocentric an explanation.

  15. Yes, Bridget is gorgeous! Happy 3rd anniversary. Thanks for the work you do for us Scotties – Angus Fala
