Lifestyles of rich and famous Scottish Terriers cont’d

Earlier this week, the Scottish Terrier News featured exclusive video of two Scotties living the high life in Brazil. This weekend, we travel to the Swiss Alps where the celebrated Scottie athlete Hitchcock resides with his clan. Strap on your hiking boots everybody. And if, like me, you don’t have any let’s ask Scottie trainer and hiker extraordinaire, Bettina, to recommend a good pair.

  1. For some reason our spring hikes in Iowa just can’t quite live up to THAT! Beautiful! Their video production work is always classy…as are the Scotties! Thanks for posting, ST&DNews

  2. Now, I know I’m handsome and all, but these guys are beautiful! And the scenery isn’t too shabby either!

    ArrrrOOOOOO! Stuart

  3. Hi
Do you mean our normal dog food? I give them flocks with meat and sometimes dry food, especially when I’m away from home. I always look for meat from regional animals from biological stock breeding (so no antibiotic in the meat and nice for the animals), further I will not buy dog food with animal or other by-products in it and will make sure that there is a highly percentage of muscle protein (watch ingredients: the first word there should be e.g. chicken (only one protein source), not wheat or maize). For treats they got normal dogcookies also with no animal by-products or for special events mild cheese and sausages.

  4. Hi Heather

Because I live in Switzerland I buy local products, which are maybe not available in the States:
GRAU Flocks from Germany – rise flocks and vegetable flocks

and for meat from austria: VIVALDI

dry food is a new small swiss producer.

I looked once for good US dog food to recommend for a friend who lives in the States:
    I think
    http://www.regalpetfoods.com (site now under construction)
    and
    http://www.thenutrocompany.com/index.aspx
    are good choices
