The Evening Telegraph in Dundee, Scotland had a tantalizing report earlier this week. And when they say icy, they mean icy:
An off-duty policeman dived into the freezing waters of Broughty Ferry Harbour to save a drowning Scottie dog.
The 17-year-old pooch, which is almost completely blind and deaf, fell off a wall into the water at Castle Approach.
Despite desperate attempts from the owner and Coastwatch Tay to rescue it, the confused canine began to swim out to sea.
Unfortunately, the Scottish Terrier News has been unable to find out anything more. Maybe some of our UK readers can help out.
