Door County Scottie Rally is this weekend

Read more about the history of this Wisconsin gathering and how it all began:

The concept of the Scottie Rally began in the winter of 2000 shortly after our first Scottish Terrier, Shayna McPunim Bronsky, was diagnosed with bladder cancer at the age of almost twelve. While ambivalent, Michele Bronsky started making phone calls to start finding a connection for potential breeders.

Because of Shayna’s diagnosis and uncertainty regarding the course of her illness, we decided to gather people together in Door County to celebrate the lives of Scotties. It was the best decision we ever made! The friendships we developed through that first event sustained us during the last few months of Shayna’s life and have been lifesaving to us after her passing. Just like each of our Scotties…the people who care for them are just as special!

  1. The Modern Scottie Dog attended the Door County Scottie Rally for the first time this year! The weekend couldn’t have been better with beautiful weather, fun for Scotties and their peeps, important health screenings and massages for the wee ones ending the afternoon with the parade of the Scotties through the town of Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. If you can save the date in May next year we recommend you attend. Door County is a must see destination and if you love Scotties the Scottie Rally hosted by the Bronskys should be high on your list of national events centered around our beloved breed!
